The short version: Turn Tracker doesn't collect your data. Everything a family enters — kids' names and turn lists — stays on that one device. There's no account, no server, and nothing to leak.
Turn Tracker is built to work entirely on your device. The table below covers everything the app stores, and where it goes.
| Data | Where it's stored |
|---|---|
| Kids' names | On this device only |
| Turn lists & rotation order | On this device only |
| Turn history | On this device only |
| Face ID / Touch ID | Never leaves iOS |
| Name, email, contacts, location | Not collected |
| Analytics or advertising data | Not collected |
If you turn it on in Settings, Turn Tracker can ask iOS to check Face ID or Touch ID before a parent advances the turn. That check happens entirely inside iOS's own Secure Enclave — the app only ever receives a yes or no. We never see, store, or have access to any biometric data.
Turn Tracker is a turn-taking tool that a parent or guardian sets up and manages for their family, including any children who use it. We built it with children's privacy as a first principle, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the App Store's Kids guidelines:
Because no data ever leaves the device, there is nothing for us to disclose to, or delete on request from, any third party — removing a kid, a turn list, or the app itself is immediate and complete. If you have questions about how Turn Tracker handles a child's information, contact us using the details in Section 07.
You're always in control. Remove a kid from Settings → Remove Kid, or delete a whole turn list, to erase their rotation and history for good. Deleting the app removes everything else immediately, since nothing is kept anywhere but your device.
If this policy ever changes — for instance, if a future update adds an optional online feature — we'll update the effective date above and describe the change here before it applies.
